Qigong For Inner PEace 

       Qigong is an energy meditation tool that helps transform heavy emotional energy into higher vibrational states. It's great for helping you navigate modern-day stress with more flow, balance and inner peace. Qigong combines simple breathing techniques, easy mental focus and gentle physical postures - either sitting, standing or moving. (All movements can be adapted to sitting in a chair.)

       In this class, through instruction and guided meditation, you’ll learn a variety of simple, yet effective self-care practices, including:

  • Inner Smile Meditation (calms anxiety and high blood pressure)

  • Six Healing Sounds (neutralizes heavy emotions)

  • Microcosmic Orbit (revitalizes your energy body)

  • Breast Health Qigong (clears stagnant energy from chest)

Quan Yin Heart Qigong

    Special series @ Irvington Wellness Center:

       In this 6-week series, you'll learn all 10 of the graceful, heart-opening movements of Quan Yin Qigong. Named after the ancient goddess of compassion, this gentle, yet powerful form helps calm your blood pressure while also strengthening your spine and developing more supple joints. As you practice, fresh Qi flows throughout your body helping to purify your body’s meridian systems - like acupuncture without the needles.  :-)

       Great for beginners as well as experienced tai chi, qigong or yoga practitioners, this mix of standing and moving qigong can all be adapted to sitting in a chair. Regular practice of these movements helps you restore the openness and compassion of your original Heart.
